The stack

The six AI tools behind our growth builds.

What each one is for, how we use it, and the order they plug into each other. The order matters more than the tools.

The order they plug in

Cheap judgments first.

01 · Screen

Jev

02 · Enrich

Clay

03 · Find the person

Hunter

04 · Write and run

Claude

05 · Record

Notion

ElevenLabs sits on the content side: the images, carousels and voice that go out alongside the outreach. A named person approves anything that leaves, at every step.

The six tools

What each one does.

Claude

The brain and the operator

Reads, judges and writes. Most of our work runs through Claude Code: it reads the inbox, drafts, keeps the records and follows the rules we have written down. If you only pick one tool, pick this.

How it plugs in. Takes the shortlist from Jev, the data from Clay and the emails from Hunter, then plans and drafts every message from the outreach handbook. ChatGPT with Codex is a good alternative.

Clay

Company data

Give it a list of companies and it fills in the rest: size, hiring, the tools they use and who makes the decisions.

How it plugs in. Only enriches the companies Jev has already passed, so you are not paying for data on companies that were never going to buy.

Hunter

The right email address

Finds and checks work email addresses, so you are not bouncing sends and burning your domain. We use its API in our acquisition builds.

How it plugs in. Takes the decision makers Clay found and returns a verified address for each one, ready for the draft.

Jev by TypeSafe

Cheap judgement

A model that writes nothing and only makes decisions: yes or no, this or that. We gave it 998 companies and three yes or no questions, and it judged all of them in 22 seconds for about three cents.

How it plugs in. Goes first. It screens the whole list against your question before you spend anything on data.

ElevenLabs

Voice, images and video

Content in one place. The images in our posts come from it, made from one approved brand reference so everything looks like the same brand.

How it plugs in. Feeds the content side: post images, carousels and voice, all drafted for approval before anything goes out.

Notion

The record

Every prospect, every rule and every decision lives here, so the system and the team are always reading the same thing.

How it plugs in. Holds the record every other tool reads from and writes back to, so nothing gets done twice.

The mistake we made early

Buying data before deciding.

We did it the other way round at first: buying data on every company, then filtering. You burn credits on companies that were never going to buy.

Screening first with a judgment that costs a fraction of a cent, and only enriching the companies that pass, made the whole thing cheaper and the lists far better. The longer version is in 10 growth jobs I'd hand to a model that only makes decisions.

Leave this section with

Screen, then enrich, then find the person, then write. A person approves what goes out, and one record holds it all.

Questions

Questions about the stack.

Do I need all six tools?
No. Claude on its own covers a lot, and a CRM can stand in for Notion. The others earn their place once volume goes up: Jev when the list is long, Clay when you need data you cannot read off a website, Hunter when emails start bouncing.
Why does Jev go before Clay?
Because a yes or no judgment costs a fraction of a cent and enrichment does not. Screening first means you only buy data on companies that passed. See the Clay and Claude guide for how the steps split.
Are these affiliate links?
No. Every link goes to the tool's own site, and nobody paid to be on this page.
Can you build this in our own tools?
Yes. We build in your accounts, with your keys, and you own everything at handover. If you already run Clay or a CRM, we build on what is there. See how a build is scoped.
