Growth engineering studio

Growth engineering for founder-led companies.

We design and build the systems that keep growth running when the founder can't: finding the right companies, drafting in your voice, following up, publishing, and learning from what worked. Built in your tools, approved by your team, owned by you.

The short version

Campaigns end. A system compounds.

Small teams rarely have a growth problem. They have a capacity problem. The founder knows who to talk to and what to say, but there is no one to do the research, the drafting and the follow-up every single day.

Growth engineering is building that capacity as a system. The daily work a full team would do is prepared before you start: companies researched, routes found, drafts written in your voice, briefs ready. A person approves. Each week's results feed the next, so it gets better at your business the longer it runs.

The difference from a tool is judgment. Someone has to decide what should run without a person, and what never should. That decision, written down and built in, is most of the work. It is what we do.

The options

Growth engineering compared with the usual ways to get growth done.

Six systems · one shared memory

What we build.

Most companies start with one, usually acquisition, and add the next once the first is running. Every system reads the same record, so each one makes the others better.

How it runs

Understand. Build. Hand over.

A written diagnosis, a first system built in four to six weeks, and a handover your team can run. The full approach

Proof

In our own run, one in ten companies contacted booked a call in the first week. The same acquisition system judged 21,927 companies for one client's market before a single message went out, and found 112 contactable buyers across 14 countries for another. Read the case study.

Questions

Questions about growth engineering.

What is growth engineering?
Growth engineering is building the systems that produce growth, rather than running campaigns by hand: the research, routing, drafting, measuring and follow-up that a growth team would otherwise do every day. Today most of that work can be prepared by AI and approved by a person. There is a longer answer in What is growth engineering?
What is the difference between a growth engineer and a growth marketer?
A growth marketer decides what to try and runs it. A growth engineer builds the machinery that runs it every day and gets better at it: the data, the automations, the approval rules, the reporting. Good growth engineering needs the marketer's judgment; the difference is that the judgment ends up written into a system instead of living in one person's head.
What is a growth engineering studio?
A small, senior team that designs and builds growth systems for other companies, then hands them over. FounderGrowthOS is one: one senior operator, a bench of growth and engineering people, and systems built in your tools that you own when we leave.
Should I hire a fractional growth engineer or work with a studio?
A fractional growth engineer is one person on a few days a week. A studio brings a build team for a fixed scope, then steps back. If you want someone embedded long term, hire fractional. If you want a working system in weeks that your own team runs, work with a studio.
Do I need engineers on my team to use it?
No. The systems are built into tools non-technical teams already use, like your CRM, your inbox, Notion and Slack. Someone needs to approve what goes out; nobody needs to write code.
How long does a growth engineering build take?
A first system takes four to six weeks: two to four to build and two to hand over. Prepared work starts landing in the first week of the build.
