GTM engineering

GTM engineering, built in your CRM and handed to your team.

The data, signals, routing and drafting behind outbound, wired together once and run every morning. Enrichment and verified contacts where they help, judgment on fit and timing before anything is written, and a named person approving every send.

What it is

The machinery under your pipeline.

Most outbound fails upstream of the message. The list was bought, the fit was guessed, the timing was random, and the opener had nothing true to say. GTM engineering fixes that part: who is worth contacting, why now, through whom, and what is true enough to say.

We build it as a pipeline that runs every morning. Market signals come in with dates and sources. Each company is judged on fit, attainability and route separately. The warmest path to a decision maker is found through your own network. The opener is drafted in your voice and filed for approval in the CRM your team already uses.

The pipeline

Six steps, every morning.

01 · Signals

Read the market

Funding, senior hires, launches, leadership changes and job posts, each with a date and a source.

02 · Fit

Judge each company

Your ideal customer written as plain yes and no definitions, applied to every company the same way.

03 · Enrich

Fill the gaps

Company and contact data from enrichment providers such as Clay, and verified emails from providers such as Hunter, only where it changes a decision.

04 · Route

Find the way in

LinkedIn degree, mutual connections and past threads, so the first touch is as warm as it can be.

05 · Draft

Write the opener

One angle per company, in your voice, with every claim tied to a source.

06 · Approve

A person sends

Drafts land in your CRM or outbox. A named person approves. Every send has a receipt.

Proof

In our own run, one in ten companies contacted booked a call in the first week. The same system judged 21,927 companies for one client's market before a single message went out, and found 112 contactable buyers across 14 countries for another. Read the case study.

Where it runs

  • HubSpot, Pipedrive or Attio as the record
  • Gmail or Outlook for drafts and sends
  • LinkedIn for routes and context
  • Clay tables, if your team already runs them

Questions

Questions about GTM engineering.

What is GTM engineering?
GTM engineering is building the technical side of go-to-market: the data, enrichment, signals, routing and outreach workflows that decide who a sales team talks to and what it says. It grew out of teams wiring tools like Clay, Hunter and a CRM together so pipeline stops depending on manual research.
What is the difference between GTM engineering and growth engineering?
GTM engineering usually means outbound and pipeline. Growth engineering covers that and the rest of growth: content, social, SEO, ads and engagement, all reading the same memory. Most of our clients start with the GTM part, the acquisition system, and add the others.
Do you work in Clay?
Yes, when it is the right tool. We use enrichment from providers like Clay and verified contacts from providers like Hunter, and we judge fit, route and timing before anything is drafted. If your team already runs Clay tables, we build on them rather than around them.
Is this an outbound agency?
No. We do not send on your behalf or rent you inboxes. We build the system in your CRM and mailboxes; your team approves and sends. When we leave, it keeps running.
How is this different from hiring a GTM engineer?
A GTM engineer is one person, usually full time, who builds and then maintains. We bring a build team for a fixed scope, hand over a system with a runbook, and stay on only if you want tuning. Many teams use us to get the first version running before they hire.
What does it cost?
Builds start from EUR 6,000, quoted in writing after a paid diagnosis that is credited against the build. How it works is on the build page.

Beyond outbound

The same memory runs the rest of growth.

Once acquisition is running, content can turn what ships and what buyers ask into pieces, social can put them in front of the accounts it targets, and ads can scale the messages that already get replies.
