System 01 of 06 · Acquisition

Acquisition that finds the right companies and the warmest way in.

Reads the market every morning for the companies that fit you now: a raise, a hire, a launch, a change of leadership. Finds the warmest route to a decision maker through your own network, drafts the opener in your voice and files it for approval. Your CRM stays the record.

  1. Reads06:40

Scanned 1,240 companies against your ideal profile. Three new signals overnight.

  2. Reasons06:41

Northwind raised a Series A yesterday. B2B, 40 to 80 people, hiring in sales. Fit score 92.

  3. Connects06:42

Route found: you, then Sara K. (worked together at a previous company), then their CEO. Two steps, both warm.

  4. Remembers06:43

Your piece on first marketing hires went out Tuesday. Attached as the reason to reach out now.

  5. Drafts06:44

Intro ask to Sara written in your voice. 84 words, one ask, no pitch.

  6. Checks06:45

Voice check passed. No claim without a source. Queued for your approval.

Quick intro to Northwind?

Sara, saw Northwind's raise. You know their CEO from your time together. Would you be up for a quick intro? I wrote about exactly the hiring decision they are about to make, so there is a reason to talk.

What it reads

  • Market signals: funding rounds, senior hires, launches, leadership changes and public job posts, each with its date and source.
  • Your ideal customer, written as plain yes and no definitions rather than a scoring spreadsheet nobody reads.
  • Your network: LinkedIn degree and mutual connections, past email threads, and who on your team already knows whom.
  • Your CRM, so nobody already in a conversation gets a cold opener.

How it decides

  • Fit, attainability and route are judged separately. A warm route never rescues a company that does not fit.
  • Only companies with a dated reason to talk now make the morning list. No reason, no message.
  • One angle per company, chosen from what is true about them this week, with every claim tied to a source.

The rules it follows

Prepared daily. Approved by a person. Owned by you.

What it will never do

  • Send anything. Drafts land in your outbox or CRM and wait for a named person.
  • Buy a list and spray it. Every company is researched before it is added.
  • Invent a fact about a prospect to make an opener land.

Where it runs

  • HubSpot, Pipedrive or Attio

  • LinkedIn

Nothing to migrate. The system reads and writes in the tools your team already opens every morning, and everything it builds is yours.

In practice

In our own run, one in ten companies contacted booked a call in the first week. The same system judged 21,927 companies for one client's market before a single message went out, and found 112 contactable buyers across 14 countries for another. The full write-up is in the case study.

How the acquisition system works, step by step →

What we need from you

  • Access to your CRM and the mailbox you send from.
  • Thirty minutes to write down who a good customer is, and who is not.
  • Ten emails or messages you have sent that worked, so the drafts sound like you.
  • One named person who approves what goes out.

Questions

Questions about Acquisition.

Is this an outbound agency?
No. Nothing is sent on your behalf. The system prepares the research, the route and the draft; your team sends from its own accounts. What we sell is the system, built in your tools, and it keeps running after we leave.
Does it replace my SDR?
It changes what they spend the day on. The research, list building and first drafts arrive prepared, so the time goes on the conversations. For founder-led teams with no SDR yet, it is often the reason the first hire can wait.
Which CRMs does it work with?
HubSpot, Pipedrive and Attio are the common ones. If your record lives in a sheet or Notion, we build there. The system reads and writes where your team already looks.

Works with

One shared memory across every system.

Each system reads the same record of who you are talking to, what went out and what is on the calendar, so they get better together.
